Comic #46. The really cool flame thingy from Dragon's mouth is a brush in GIMP, all I did was select it and draw a line and got that cool effect. The brush is so cool it nearly makes up for the utterly useless "peppers" brush.

Bonus Art #17. Before I started doing BNRP, I'd seriously considered doing a Lego-based webcomic. It was going to be set ~10 years in the future, after humans had been brought into the galactic civilization due to a starship crash-landing off Long Island. It never got anywhere though, as I realized I did not have the time or patience to create the elaborate sets I wanted, nor the space to store them between shooting comics (because if you build a complete starship bridge, you aren't going to take it apart lightly, on the off chance you need it again in a few weeks. I did build the model of the crashed ship, and the office interior you see here. This would have been the first shot of the first comic, as the local Coast Guard supervisor is on the radio to the team he sent out to investigate reports of a "plane crash" spotted off shore.

Bonus Art #14. In my defense, running around the house shooting my housemate was a damn fun way to blow an evening. I'm also waiting for a package to show up so I can move on with the storyline, but the time I should have spent coming up with a filler strip was spent pulling darts off the TV, windows, ceiling fan, etc. (ab)Normal service should resume on Monday, with a minor update of the website at blert.net/bnrp and some other news.

P.S. for those curious, we're using Nerf Mavericks that have been repainted, and had their restrictors removed.

I have for a while wanted to come up with ad banners for BN&RP, and fliers to stick up at cons. But I haven't been able to come up with anything clever to put on them. Tonight on the ride home however, I just kept coming up with sillier and sillier ones. Now I just have to get some of these done up before Lunacon this weekend.

There will not be a comic for Monday, and likely not for the rest of this week. I've got some things I need to be doing ,and don't currently have the energy for the comic. I'm hoping to get some comics done this week though so I have a buffer going forward. Right now however I can't make any promises. Sorry.

Honestly part of it is I'm not sure anyone is actually interested or likes to comic. So if you do and/or have any comments or suggestions I'd appreciate hearing from you.
